The KZ Castor features 10mm dual magnetic dynamic driver + 8mm dynamic driver with top and bottom stacked cavity structure for exceptional audio quality and an enhanced listening experience. By crafting each driver with a distinct purpose, KZ guarantees a seamless fusion of dynamic low frequencies and impeccably defined middle and high tones. The KZ Castor delivers superior sound quality and excellent control over a wide range of frequencies.

CUSTOMIZABLE AUDIO PROFILES WITH KZ CASTOR'S TUNING SWITCHES

The KZ Castor includes four tuning switches, each offering two-stage adjustments for low and high frequencies. These switches allow to create 16 unique audio profiles tailored to their individual preferences, suitable for various music genres. Each profile is finely tuned with specific impedance and sensitivity settings, ensuring the best possible audio output to match diverse sound preferences.

HIGH-PURITY STOCK CABLE

The KZ Castor includes a flat, transparent black cable with a 0.75mm 2-pin plug design to elevate audio quality. It also features memory foam ear tips with optimized physical structure to reduce teeth clenching noise. The slow rebound memory sponge material enhances wearing comfort and provides excellent noise reduction and sound isolation effects.

ELEVATED SOUND QUALITY THROUGH 3D PRECISION INJECTION MOLDING

The KZ Castor In-ear monitor features integrated injection molding process to create a high-precision integrated acoustic filtering nozzle. This advanced manufacturing technique allows for the accurate and intricate printing of complex internal structures within the earphone cavity. The tolerance range of 3D printing is around 0.1mm, but the precision of KZ Castor internal support structure is around 0.01mm. As a result, the KZ Castor achieves efficient and uniform sound reproduction, enhancing the overall audio quality and providing a more immersive listening experience.

IN-LINE CONTROL MIC

This IEM features an in-line microphone that is compatible with standard mobile phone calls. It also has in-line media controls that allows for call pickup/disconnection, short press for pause/play, press-twice to switch songs, etc.

Good bass

KZ's new design much appreciatable for two dynamic drivers bonded together,good bass,mids are laid back,good treble,no harshness,switches slightly noticeable,over all good iem for 1500 but I like kz ESX most for its thump and sub bass extension

V- shaped, good choice to bass heavy songs

As a budding audiophile, I've begun to immerse myself in the world of music, discovering through Apple Music the intricacies of sound profiles, from the detailed (neutral) to the bass-heavy and detailed (V-shaped), and even the warm (warm-curved) tones in between.

Currently, I own two entry-level In-Ear Monitors (IEMs): the Salnotes Zero and the KZ - Castor Harman Bass Improved. I've recently acquired the KZ Castor, which contrasts starkly with the Salnotes Zero, yet I have no regrets about selecting it among the sub-2k budget IEMs. The Salnotes Zero excels with rock, metal, and any song where detail is paramount, as found on Apple Music. Conversely, the KZ Castor rounds out my music preferences with its V-shaped tuning, making it ideal for EDM, electronic, bass guitar, and any genre that benefits from a bass-forward or warm sound signature.

I had the opportunity to experience the QKZ × HBB for about two to three months, courtesy of a friend. This left me uncertain about which model to purchase. However, I've concluded that both are commendable in terms of bass response, and one wouldn't regret acquiring any of the following IEMs: QKZ × HBB, 7hz Salnotes Zero (neutral-detailed) / Zero 2 (detailed with slightly more bass than the Zero), Truthear Hola (warm), and the KZ - Castor Harman BASS Improved Version. While there may be other IEMs that perform well, I haven't had the chance to listen to them and therefore cannot offer a comparison.

A must buy IEM

This iem dethrones all iems below rs.5000. 7hz zero, wan'er, truthear zero, moondrop quarks dsp, Tanya dsp, nothing stands in its way.
The only con here is the fit. The shell is too large.

One of the best IEM under ₹2000

KZ - Castor (Bass) have a really strong and clear bass while having that it still have great treble and mids, thanks to its dual dynamic drivers.

Its got a good soundstage too with good width and depth, imaging is also accurate.

And the switches gives me a lot of control.

It also have quite a good build quality, I'm happy with this product, it's worth the blind buy.
